Hi! I write women’s fiction/romance –which is to say I write big, emotional books that have a strong romantic element but that are also about women’s personal journeys. And yes, you can get them at your local bookstore. In fact, I hope you will!
My newest book, It Happened One Night, has been doing marvelously and is out now. As of the day I’m writing this, one Barnes and Noble blogger featured it on her Best Books of 2009 list, and it’s gone into a second printing! (See below for more). PLUS it’s going to be published in Norway!

THE OFFICIAL BIO: Lisa Dale earned her BA in English from McDaniel College (Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) with multiple writing awards and nominations, and she received an MFA in Fiction from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Prior to earning her MFA, she worked at a Manhattan literary agency, where part of her responsibilities included writing editorial letters for clients’ manuscripts. Her nationally published short prose has been nominated for Best New American Voices and The Pushcart Prize. Her first novel, Simple Wishes, debuted with Grand Central Publishing, and a second book , It Happened One Night, arrived in November 2009.
